Kicking Up A Storm pt1

Well it's getting quite breezy here in the UK. There are bad weather warnings for most of the country so I've spent the morning moving everything that's movable into the garage, checked torches for batteries and put the matches next to the candles...so bring on the storm.

Fully Committed to NaNo

Totally immersed with NaNo prep. This year I'm taking the characters from "You Can Choose Your Friends" (the sitcom that never was) putting them in a 'following a quest' scenario and seeing how things progress. Currently trying to sketch out a chapter by chapter break-down,  highlighting key elements of the storyline and plot etc. Real-World Work might become a problem later on, but for now it's full steam ahead.

NaNoWriMo 2013

Well I've committed myself to NaNoWriMo 2013. I'm not sure if this will be a good idea considering  my workload for November, but time will tell. I certainly need something to kick start the writing again I've neglected it for far too long this year.
Something different: an all out comedy novel written in first person. It's based on some of the characters I created for 'You Can Choose Your Friends' (a stalled sitcom). There will be a new title but that's not really important at the moment. Aiming for 80,000 words so I very much doubt if it will be finished within the timescales of Nanowrimo however 50, 000 in November followed by 30,000 in December will be a good target. Roll on editing February and March.
